(Atlantic) The Atlantic girls’ tennis team hosts Red Oak today and competes in the Hawkeye Ten Conference Tournament at Shenandoah on Wednesday.
The Trojans enter this week of competition having won duals over Creston and Glenwood last week. Atlantic Head Coach Mike McDermott says the overall attitude of the entire team played a factor in their success one week ago.
Coach McDermott admitted that on paper, they are the favorites over Red Oak today.
Coach McDermott says a top-three finish at Wednesday’s Hawkeye Ten Conference Tournament will be the goal moving forward.
The meet today against Red Oak starts at 4:30 p.m.
