(Denison) Denison-Schleswig Head Football Coach Willie Baughman says the focus this week is to get back on track when the Monarchs host the Trojans. Storm Lake topped Denison-Schleswig week in the opener, 39-13.
The Monarchs’ rushing attack was a bright spot in the week one opener. Cole Kastner rushed for 91 yards on 14 carries, and Jackson Graeve toted the pigskin 13 times for 54 yards.
Next up is Atlantic. The Trojans fell short to Glenwood last week, 32-7.
The last time these two teams met following a long series was in 2017. The Monarchs won the contest 31-28.
