(Bremer County) One person died in a motorcycle crash in Bremer County.
The Iowa State Patrol reports that the accident occurred on Tuesday at approximately 4:46 p.m. on Highway 218, near mile marker 195.
The 44-year-old victim was operating a 2008 Harley Davidson southbound in the inside lane when the Harley lost control, entered the median, and came to rest. According to the report, debris from the motorcycle struck a northbound Jeep traveling on the inside, causing minor damage to the Jeep.
The motorcycle driver, whose name was not released, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
