(Atlantic) — The Atlantic Trojans kick off the 2025 football season at home Friday night, taking on Glenwood in a non-district matchup. Last year, the Trojans edged the Rams 35-34 in an overtime thriller at Glenwood.
Senior co-captain Brock Goodrich says he’s ready to take on a leadership role this fall.
Goodrich returns as a receiver on offense and will also see time on the defensive line. He caught five passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns last season.
Fellow senior co-captain Colin Rudy is set to make his first start in the Trojan lineup. He’ll play at linebacker and also contribute in the offensive backfield.
Even without a starting role last year, Rudy tallied 23.5 tackles, 16 solo stops, 1.5 sacks, and six tackles for loss.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Trojan Bowl. Coverage will air on 95.7 FM and will be live-streamed at westerniowatoday.com.
