(Atlantic) A spicy evening is planned for Produce in the Park on Thursday, August 28, with a night full of salsa-themed fun for all ages.
The event will feature a Chopped-style salsa cook-off with guest chefs, where visitors can watch the competition unfold and sample the results. Guests are also invited to join in the fun with salsa-style Jazzercise, a kids’ salsa scavenger hunt, and a “Blind Date with a Book” activity hosted by the Atlantic Public Library Friends & Trustees.
Jenna Nevins will provide live music.
Shoppers can browse a wide variety of vendor offerings, including:
- Fresh produce (peppers, tomatoes, onions, zucchini, and more)
- Local meats, farm-fresh eggs, and honey
- Baked goods, arts and crafts, handmade soaps, fresh flowers, and more
Zipp’s Pizzaria will be on site serving up food, and several community organizations will also be in attendance, including Zion Integrated Behavioral Health Services, Cass Health, and the Atlantic Public Library.
