(Atlantic) The Atlantic Cross Country Team enters its final week of preparation before the opening meet on Saturday, August 30, at Glenwood. Atlantic Head Coach Dan Vargason says they made a lot of progress both physically and mentally.
Currently, on the girls’ side, Katrina Williams is the team’s number one runner. Coach Vargason is impressed with her leadership and team-first perspective.
On the boy’s side, three runners lead the team: Mason Betts, Kouper Kinney, and Anthony Akers. Depending on the workout, they are separating themselves.
The Trojans hold a time trial on Tuesday, August 26, at 5:00 p.m. at Nishna Hills Golf Course. Park at the school parking lot and walk over if possible.
