(Lincoln, NE) — The Nebraska football team held an intrasquad scrimmage this past Saturday as they continue to prepare for next week’s season opener. One area that stood out for the offense according to Head Coach Matt Rhule was that they were able to consistently sustain drives
On the defensive side, Rhule had not been happy with the tackling so he did something he doesn’t like to do — show the team tape of his previous team at Baylor and how they tackled and the message stuck with the team and Rhule says the tackling has been better
There are two concerns that Rhule has after Saturday’s scrimmage — penalties and depth
Nebraska opens their season next Thursday, August 28 against Cincinnati in Kansas City.
