(Griswold) — The Griswold School Board has approved a two-year sharing agreement with the Atlantic Community School District for swimming, pending action by the Atlantic board.
Griswold had one student participate with Atlantic last year without a formal contract. Superintendent Dave Henrichs said both districts felt it was best to put the arrangement in writing.
Under the agreement, Atlantic will provide the coach, while Griswold will handle transportation for its student athletes to practices and meets.
Griswold will also compensate Atlantic for coaching staff and other related expenses.
