(Iowa City, IA) — The University Of Iowa is looking for volunteers for a drunk driving study. UI’s Driving Safety Research Institute needs people to join a study to test vehicle sensors that can detect alcohol impairment. Participants need to be willing to make four trips to Coralville, including an overnight stay. They’ll be paid 820 to get drunk inside a driving simulator to determine the effectiveness of systems to monitor when a driver is drowsy, distracted, or impaired by alcohol or cannabis.
