(Lewis) Sixty-two riders participated in the 17th Annual Redneck Poker Run last Saturday and raised $1,380.00 for the Lewis Fire Department.
Rob Stamp says Dave Freund organizes the event, and along with Brett and Shelly Pellett, and Rob and his wife Marlo have kept the fundraiser active over the past 17 years.
Stamp appreciates the support of everyone involved in this ride, which is for a great cause.
Lewis Fire Chief Terry Erickson appreciates the donation, which will go toward training and the purchase of equipment.
The Lewis Fire Department consists of 14 volunteers. Chief Erickson says they are always looking for new members.
