(Adair Co) The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved the final grandstands drawings at their meeting this morning.
The Supervisors also approved a bid for concrete by the Veterans Memorial.
The Supervisors then approved a funding request presented by Michelle De La Riva, with Community & Family Resources, a nonprofit behavioral health agency that provides treatment, prevention, and recovery services for those seeking help for substance use, mental health, and problem gambling disorders. Due to some funding changes in FY26, they are requesting that each of the counties allocate support from the Opioid Settlement Fund to support the cost of the detox program.
Michelle De La Riva explained that three Adair County residents participated in the detox program, and of those three, only one did not have health care coverage to pay for the service. That individual stayed for only one day. Again, the Supervisors approved the funding request.
And, the board approved signing the contract and approved the performance bond for the N27 Lincoln Bridge Project.
