(Guthrie County) Two juveniles suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Guthrie County.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, on 180th Trail. Authorities identified the injured as a 13-year-old driver and a 17-year-old passenger, both from Guthrie Center.
According to the report, the 13-year-old was driving a 2008 Chevrolet 1500 pickup northbound in the 2500 block of 180th Trail, rounding a curve. Authorities say the pickup was traveling too fast, left the roadway, and entered the north ditch. The driver corrected, and the pickup crossed the roadway, went into the south ditch, and struck a tree.
Panora EMS transported both occupants to Blank’s Children’s Hospital.
