(Creston) One person suffered injuries in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Union County.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at around 11:00 p.m. on Thursday at the intersection of 240th Street. Authorities identified the injured driver as 21-year-old James Joel Villarreal, of Lenox.
According to the report, Villarreal was driving a 2015 Chrysler 200 northbound and attempting to turn east onto 240th Street. He stated he made the turn too fast and lost control of the car. The vehicle entered the north ditch and rolled onto its top. He told authorities he was traveling between 45 and 50 miles per hour.
Medic1 transported Villarreal to the Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston.
