(Knoxville) Nathan Sage (Democrat), a veteran running for U.S. Senate against Senator Joni Ernst in Iowa, announced the launch of his 99 counties in 99 days for the 99% tour across Iowa.
Raised in a trailer park, Sage served in both the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army, completing multiple deployments to Iraq. After the military, he earned a degree from Kansas State University using the GI Bill while working nights to support his family.
He returned to Iowa as a radio news and sports director, later becoming Executive Director of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce in 2023. Sage is focused on economic development and community support. He lives in Indianola with his wife Amanda and their two children.
