The AHSTW Vikings softball team had a disappointing year this summer after finishing with a 5-16 record. The Vikings had high hopes coming into the year after a solid season in 2024, finishing 16-9 and only losing one starter. However, AHSTW dealt with some injuries this year that they struggled to overcome.
Head coach Katie Pace focused on the individual growth, following the season.
The Vikings will return a lot of production next season after only graduating two seniors, Loralei Wahling and Sienna Christian. The two of them pitched in the majority of the games this summer and drove in nearly a third of the teams total runs.
Although they return a lot of production the Vikings will need to replace their two starting pitchers.
Pace says they have a lot of work to do in the off-season.
