(Cedar County) Two people suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Cedar County.
The Iowa State Patrol reports that the crash occurred early Sunday morning at 81 Main Street. Authorities identified the two injured people as 23-year-old Blake J. Johnson, of Aledo, Illinois, and 20-year-old Adam Dean Duncan of Lowden, Iowa.
According to the report, Johnson was driving a 2013 Audi A6, left the roadway, entered the parking lot, and struck a parked semi.
Tipton Ambulance transported Blake Johnson to the UIHC. Clarence Ambulance transferred 20-year-old Adam Dean Duncan to UIHC.
The accident remains under investigation.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office, Tipton Police Department, Clarence Fire, and Lowden Fire Department.
