(Atlantic) Atlantic City Park will be the place to kick off your holiday weekend during America’s Pre-Party on Thursday, July 3, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. This free event offers fun for the whole family right in the heart of downtown Atlantic.
Guests can enjoy live music, a bounce house for kids, and educational activities including a feature on the history of the American flag. More than 25 vendors will be on hand with a wide variety of local goods. Shoppers will find fresh produce like snap peas, tomatoes, cucumbers, and aronia berries, as well as meats including chicken, pork, beef, and lamb. Farm-fresh eggs, artisan breads, homemade pastries, freeze-dried snacks, and fresh-squeezed lemonade will also be available.
Craft and art vendors will showcase items such as paintings, leather goods, soaps, candles, wax melts, home décor, garden gifts, and even compost.
Firehouse Family Foods BBQ will serve up hot meals from their food truck, and guest chef Sarah Anderson will offer free samples of her Feta & Dill Salad.
Local organizations attending the event include Cass County Tourism, Healthy Cass County, the YMCA, ARISE, and the Atlantic Public Library.
The event will be held at Atlantic City Park.
