(Guthrie Co) A Bayard man was charged with Operating While Under the Influence, 1st Offense, following an accident Saturday evening.
According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Sheldon Astley was driving a 2016 Ford F-150 westbound from Prairie Street and School Street when he lost control and drove into the westbound ditch, striking a speed limit sign and a light pole.
No injuries were reported.
Astley was also cited for Failure to Maintain Control, Striking Fixtures Upon a Highway, and Use of an Electronic Communication Device.
