(Anita) The Cass County Master Gardeners will host a Garden Walk on Sunday, June 22, featuring tours of three private gardens in and around Anita. The self-guided tours will run from 2 to 6 p.m., with visitors welcome to explore the gardens in any order.
Two gardens are located within Anita, and one is in the surrounding countryside. Each stop showcases a different style, from sun and shade gardens to vegetable plots, container arrangements, and garden art. Educational materials will be available at each location for those looking to expand their gardening knowledge.
Tickets are $10 and are available now at the Cass County Extension Office or online at extension.iastate.edu/cass. A map and garden descriptions are included with each ticket, which must be presented for entry. Additional tickets will be sold at each garden on the day of the event.
