Fatal Motorcycle vs Semi Accident in Floyd County

(Floyd Co.) One person was killed in a motorcycle vs semi accident in Floyd County this morning.

The Iowa State Patrol says a 66-year-old from Garner, Iowa, was operating a 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle on US 18 at around 9:10 a.m. and pulled out in front of a 2019 Freightliner Semi, driven by a 24-year-old from Caledon, Ontario, causing a fatal collision.

No names have been released at this time.
