(Griswold) For the past two months, a committee tasked with evaluating the advantages and challenges of creating an independent Griswold girls’ wrestling program will present its findings to the Griswold School Board this evening. The committee will recommend whether to continue the partnership with Red Oak or launch a separate program.
Griswold has shared a girls’ wrestling program with Red Oak for the past two seasons. While the arrangement has been beneficial, shared superintendent Dave Henrichs noted that interest in wrestling among Griswold student-athletes is growing.
