(Dunlap, IA) — It was not the ideal conditions for golf on Friday but the first round of the Girls Regionals was played nevertheless. Boyer Valley hosted the Class 1A, Region 2B meet and only three golfers were able to break 100. Earlham’s Savannah Charlet and Piper Koberg each shot a 95 and Charlet won on a tiebreak. Rounding out the top 6 were Olivia Nixt of Earlham (103), Mallory Schroeder of Coon Rapids Bayard (105) and Presley Koberg of Earlham (106) — the top six qualify for the regional finals.
