(Council Bluffs) One person suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash in Council Bluffs.
Council Bluffs Police say the accident happened on Wednesday at 8:51 p.m. in the 2500 Block of West Broadway. Authorities say the driver of the motorcycle suffered critical injuries in the crash. The Council Bluffs Fire Department transported the driver to the University of Nebraska Medical Center. No names are being released at this time.
Authorities learned the motorcycle operator and another vehicle were involved in a road rage incident as they traveled west on Broadway from 16th Street to where the accident occurred in the 2500 block of West Broadway. The westbound motorcycle struck a roadway sign, causing it to lose control.
The accident remains under investigation.
