(Atlantic) Post-season tournament play starts today for the Atlantic boys’ golf team. Today, the Trojans will host a sectional tournament at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club. The teams competing for a trip to the district tournament at Red Oak include ADM, Atlantic, Clarke, Creston, Glenwood, Harlan, Red Oak, and Winterset.
The Trojans enter post-season play undefeated in dual play and have won five out of six tournament titles. Atlantic Head Coach Kendra Henningsen says the primary focus is to stay in the present.
Coach Henningsen admits a quality field of teams is coming to Atlantic today. The tournament starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club.
