(Atlantic) ADM, Atlantic, and Glenwood qualify for the Class 3A District Golf Tournament with top-three finishes on Tuesday at the boys’ Class 3A Sectional Tournament at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club.
ADM topped the field of eight with a 294, Atlantic was second with a 305, and Glenwood finished third with a 323.
Grant Jansen medaled for the Tigers with an even par 69; teammate Carter Madison finished runner-up medalist with a three-over-par 72.
Hudsen McLaren led the Trojans with a 75, Sam Brosam, 76, Brady Wood, 77, Gage Gross, 77, Trevan Hansen, 78, and Tristan Hayes shot 78.
McLaren says he started rough and still finished with a solid score of 75.
Sam Brosam birdied his last hole for a seven-over-par 76.
Gage Gross finished with an eight-over-par 77.
Brady Wood finished his round with a 77.
Trevan Hansen finished his round with a 78.
Weston Couse of Red Oak and Jonas Reynolds of Harlan advanced as individuals, scoring 77 and 78, respectively. The individual race came down to the final few holes but Reynolds was not keeping track
