(Tabor, IA) — Fremont Mills won both Boys and Girls at their home track meet on Tuesday night but it was Luke Sternberg and Collin Harder of AHSTW that had seven first place finishes between them. For the Griswold girls, Amanda Houser had four top three finishes including two wins. The race of the night was in the girls 100 Hurdles where Hannah Olson of Stanton beat Lana Alley of Fremont Mills 15.40 to 15.47. It was not the fastest time for either but it was a thriller.
AHSTW Boys: Sternberg won the 100 (11.57), 200 (22.98) and 400 (51.22) — Sternberg edged his teammate Harder in the 400 who ran a 53.34. Harder won the 800 (2:04.02) and 1600 (4:54.43) and both teamed with Kayden Sandbothe and Chase Wheatley to win the Sprint Medley relay at 1:40.85. Also for the Vikings, Jett Peterson won the Shot Put (49-01) and was 2nd in the discus (125-05).
Griswold Girls: Houser won the 400 (1:07.05), finished 2nd in the 100 (14.29) and 3rd i nthe 200 (29.48) and was part of the 4×400 relay with Sadie Gohlinghorst, Bristol Wyman and Addison Adams to win at 4:30.64. Addison also anchored the 4×800 relay (10:50.40, season PR) to a win with Alexa Steinhoff, Gohlinghorst and Marissa Askeland. Steinhoff won the 800 (2:45.55); Carsyn Adams won the 100 (13.58) ahead of her sister Addison (14.29) in 2nd; Carsyn was also 2nd in the 400 Hurdles. Askeland was 2nd in the 800 and Ella Gade was 3rd in the Discus
Fremont Mills Girls: Bella Gute got four wins for the Knights in their home meet winning the 400 Hurdles at 1:07.67 and was part of teh 4×100, 4×200 and Shuttle Hurdle relays. Fremont Mills also was first in the Sprint Medley and Distance Medley relays and Carlie chambers won the High Jump and Hayleigh Mattox won the Discus.
Fremont Mills Boys: Landon Baker won the Long Jump at 18-11.75 and the Knights won the 4×100, 4×400, Distance Medley and Shuttle Hurdle relays.

Stanton — Olson won the 200 and 100 Hurdles; Lauren Johnson won the Long Jump
Heartland Christian — Grace Steinmetz won both the 1 mile and 2 mile
Other boys winners:
East Mills — Jackson Embree won the 110 Hurdles; Walter Sepold the 400 Hurdles and the Wolverines won the 4×200 relay
Sidney — Carter Buttry won the 2 mile; Aiden Stenzel won the High Jump; Mason Dovel won the Shot Put; and the Cowboys won the 4×800
