(Atlantic) Atlantic dominated the Monarch Invitational Golf Tournament on Monday at Majestic Hills in Denison, placing four golfers in the top five and capturing the team title. The Trojans posted a team score of 309, finishing 25 strokes ahead of second-place Kuemper.
Tristan Hayes and Sam Brosam shared medalist honors, each shooting a five-over-par 76. Gage Gross followed closely with a 78 to finish third, while Brady Wood carded a 79 to complete the top five. Hudson McLaren placed sixth with an 81, and Trevan Hansen rounded out the team’s performance with a 95.
Tristan Hayes started out five over, and then regrouped to finish strong.
