(Creston) Two people were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident in Creston this (Wednesday) morning.
The Creston Police Department says 55-year-old Sheila Culbert, of Creston, was driving a 1998 Ford Ranger pickup westbound on Townline Street. 66-year-old Julia Thompson, of Creston, was driving a 2009 Infinity G37 northbound on Lincoln Street. Both drivers claimed they had the green light and proceeded through the intersection where the collision occurred.
Culbert and Thompson were both transported to the Greater Regional Medical Center by ambulance with possible injury or complaint of pain.
