(Adair Co) The Adair County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing on the Agriland FS Anhydrous Ammonia Expansion.
Agriland FS, located at 1706 160th Street in Casey, plans to relocate their anhydrous ammonia tanks.

The Supervisors also heard from County Engineer Nick Kauffman regarding a resolution to set a public hearing to vacate a portion of Lewis Avenue. Kauffman explained that the intersection is unusual; the road is offset, making it an irregular, non-square intersection.
Audio PlayerKauffman said following the public hearing, they will need to quitclaim deed it back to Baudler and then they will have to get an easement from him for where the road actually already is, plus a little extra.
The public hearing is set for May 21st at 9:05 a.m.
In other news, the Supervisors approved the official notice for weed destruction as presented by Weed Commissioner Nathan Jensen. They approved signing the Mental Health Advocate MOU with Decatur County. And, the board approved increasing the Medical Examiner Fee to $200, plus milage. The new rate will go into effect July 1st.
