(Lewis) One person was injured in a semi vs passenger vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 71 and Oxford Road.
Cass County Sheriff John Westering tells KSOM/KS95 News that Cass EMS transported the passenger vehicle driver to CCMH.
Sheriff Westering says the passenger vehicle traveling westbound on Oxford Road pulled away from the stop sign onto Highway 71 and was struck by a northbound semi.
The semi ended up in the west ditch, and the passenger vehicle came to rest in the center of the roadway. The semi driver was not hurt.
The Cumberland and Massena Fire Departments, Lewis Fire Department, Cass EMS, and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
