(Atlantic) The Atlantic boy’s golf team defeated Denison-Schleswig 154 to 157 at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club on Tuesday.
Keith Thompson of Hamburg played as an individual, and medaled with a 35. Tristan Hayes of Atlantic finished runner-up with a 36. Sam Brosam, Atlantic, shot 39, Brody Wood, Atlantic, 39, Hudson McLaren, Atlantic, 40, Trevan Hansen, Atlantic, 40, and Gage Gross, Atlantic, carded a 41.
Malachi Esteves led the Monarchs with a 42, Nash Langenfeld, 43, Michael Collins, 44, Payton Emery, 48, Cale Paulsen, 49, and Karsen Bruhn, 57 .
The Atlantic Junior Varsity team shot 190 to the Monarchs 209.
