(Lenox, IA) — Riverside had a successful night in Lenox on Monday, winning both boys and girls competition in the co-ed meet.

Riverside Girls: Relays helped Riverside get the win with four wins. The 4×400 relay got a season PR by 3 1/2 seconds (4:14.63) with Veronica Schechinger, Elly Henderson, Sophia Fenner and Bentley Rone. The Bulldogs also got a season PR in the 4×800, winning with a time of 10:26.16 with Bentley Rone, Elly Henderson, Amaiya Less and Sophia Fenner. The Distance Medley team also won (4:46.79) with Veronica Shechinger, Arabella Singleton, Kayden Schnack and Fenner. Fenner was also 2nd in the shot put. The 4×200 also won (1:53.13) with Olivia Lund, Adaline Martens, Rone and Schechinger. Madison Kelley was 2nd in the discus, Schnack was 2nd in the long jump, missing a season PR by a half an inch, and Riverside was 2nd in the Sprint Medley relay.
Riverside Boys: Five wins for the Bulldogs and a number of season best times. Cole Jeppesen won the 100 meters with a season best 11.31 seconds. Maddox Knoke won the 400 with a season PR of 50.90. Brody Henderson had two wins and two season PRs — 800 at 2:03.52 and 1600 at 4:46.74. The 4×400 relay also won with Jaxon Gordon, Cruz Jaquez, Owen Fenner and Keaten Rieken at 3:32.42. Eli Hudnall was 2nd in the 2 mile. Gordon was 2nd in the 110 Hurdles with a season PR at 14.91. Jaquez was 2nd i nthe 800 with a PR of 2:03.97. Dawson Henderson was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles with a season PR of 57.15.
Griswold Girls: The Adams sisters dueled on the track in the 400 Hurdles — both had season PRs and it was Carsyn Adams who got the win at 1:08.96 while Addison finished 2nd at 1:09.20. Carsyn was also 3rd in the 100 Hurdles with a season PR at 16.27. Ella Gade improved in the discus by almost 7 feet, throwing 98-00 a new PR. Alexa Steinhoff finished 3rd in the 800 with a season PR of 2:42.62. The Tigers also got season PRs in the shuttle hurdle relay (1:09.26) and distance medley relay (4:53.86, improved by 8 1/2 seconds).
Griswold Boys: The Tigers won two relays and got a season PR in the Distance Medley at 3:50.69 with Nollan Smith, Bode Wyman, Auden Wilson and Cody Dorscher. The other relay that won was the Shuttle Hurdle (1:03.24) with Wyatt Silk, Wilson, Peyton Cook and Wyman. The Sprint Medley relay was 2nd. Holden Jensen won the 3200 (10:38.72) and was 2nd in the 1600. Connor Bowers finished 2nd in the High Jump (6-02); Peyton Cook was 3rd in the 110 Hurdles and got a season PR of 14.98 (previous was 15.01) and RJ Dishong was 3rd in the discus.
Southwest Valley Boys: No wins for the Timberwolves but Brody Crozier was 2nd in the 100 and 3rd in the Long Jump. Walker Bissell was 3rd in the High Jump, Wyatt Mendenhall 3rd in the 400 Hurdles and they finished 2nd in the 4×100 relay.
