(Ames, Iowa) Iowa State University Police say there’s no ongoing danger to the public after a man was arrested for threatening to commit a mass shooting. Authorities arrested Tanner Bandy of Nevada for multiple counts of harassment and stalking after a woman alerted police about ongoing threats since October. The 28-year-old allegedly left the woman multiple violent voicemails, with a recent threat of killing her and others at ISU’s upcoming commencement ceremony. As a precaution, increased security measures will be in place during the commencement ceremonies.
