CAM Golfers Trying to Lower Their Scores

(Anita, IA) — The CAM Boys Golfers are competing in a tournament today hosted by Lenox. This past Saturday, CAM hosted the Dale Erickson Memorial Tournament and the individual title came down to a rematch of last year’s state tournament and once again Keith Thompson of Hamburg beat Chase Jahde of the Cougars by one stroke. CAM finished 3rd in the team standings and Head Coach Joe Wollum was still proud of the way his team

After the Dale Erickson, CAM finished third in the team standings at Woodbine but Jahde won medalist with his 37. Besides Jahde, Wollum is working on putting his best line up on the course and looking to improve everybody’s game

For the girls, Junior Kaitlyn Platt is the leader with a scoring average of 57.92. Senior Gracie Venteicher and Freshman Broolynne Zimmerline are the #2 and #3 players and Wollum says they get a big opportunity this coming Monday
