(Neola, IA) — Tri Center smartly moved up the starting time of their Girls Invitational on Thursday to beat any possible bad weather and the Trojans dominated the team standings including winning three relays. Most teams did not run at full strength choosing to be picky with their events to possibly qualify for the Drake Relays. For instance, Bella Lamp of AHSTW did not run in the 400 Hurdles and instead focused on relays. Lili Denton of St. Albert only ran the 800 for individual events and also ran some relays. That allowed other girls to shine.
