(Shenandoah, IA) — Fremont Mills showed off their track and field talents on Thursday night, winning the Fillie Invitational ahead of the home school Shenandoah and Riverside.

Fremont Mills: The Knights had 8 wins to lead them to first place. There were 4 first place relays — the Sprint Medley (2:01.26); 4×100 (51.90), 4×200 (1:51.44) and Shuttle Hurdle (1:07.26). Lana Alley won the 200 (27.80); Bella Gute won the 400 Hurdles (1:09.22); Hayleigh Mattox won the discus (120-09.50 which is a season PR by 8 feet); and Carlie Chambers won the High Jump (5-00).
Shenandoah: The Mustangs only got two wins on their home track — Hailey Egbert won the 1500 and 3000.
Riverside: The Bulldogs won two relays — the 4×800 with Bentley Rone, Amaiya Less, Bailey Richardson, and Ashley Kelley with a time of 10:53.56 and the Distance Medley at 4:43.27 with Ella Reed, Bentley Rone, Aubrey Lopez and Sophia Fenner. Fenner also won the shot put at 39-02.50. Ayla Richardson was 2nd in the Long Jump with a season PR of 14-05.25. Bailey Richardson was 3rd in the 800 and Bentley Rone was 3rd in the 200 with a season PR of 29.40.
Griswold: The tigers won the 4×400 relay and set a new season PR at 4:23.12 with Amanda Houser, Addison Adams, Sadie Gohlinghorst and Carsyn Adams. Addison Adams was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles but got a season PR at 1:11.64 and passed her sister Carsyn for a team best time. Meanwhile, Carsyn Adams won the 400 at 1:03.93 and was third in the 100 Hurdles. Amanda Houser was 2nd in the 400. Griswold was also 2nd in the 4×800 relay.
Stanton: Kyla Harat won the 100 at 14.13 and Hannah Olson won the 100 Hurdles at 16.18 and was 2nd in the 200.
Sidney; Keyana Hagerty won the long jump at 14-06.75.
