The Bulldog Will be a ‘Poke; Allen Takes Her Wrestling Talents to the Big 12 Conference

(Oakland, IA) — Recently, Riverside Senior and Four Time State Champion Molly Allen announced she will be wrestling at Oklahoma St. University.  Allen visited a number of schools — mostly small schools and talked with the University of Iowa but the Cowgirls showed the most interest and Allen took the opportunity to wrestle at the Division I level

Allen visited Stillwater more than once and everything just seemed to come together — she began to run out of reasons not to go there

Allen’s freshman season was at Underwood but transferred because the Riverside girls program was bigger and more established.  Most of the major college wrestling programs are still new — Oklahoma St. only started their program in 2022 but Allen says the Cowgirls are on the rise

Allen now goes from being the favorite in every one of her high school matches to the rookie at a big university.  She says she is preparing herself for every challenge that college brings

Allen says she is still undecided about her major but is interested in coaching one day.
