(Anita, IA) — On Monday night, the CAM and Griswold school boards both approved a sharing agreement for the sport of softball. CAM’s numbers had dropped to only 8 players which is not enough to field a team so Athletic Director Joe Wollum at CAM began looking for a partner and Griswold whose numbers are not great themselves were open to the idea

Audio PlayerThe sharing agreement will be for the 2025 and 2026 seasons and then will be re-examined. Wollum says its not the first choice to do something like this but CAM didn’t have a choice
Audio PlayerGriswold’s softball Head Coach Jodi Rossell will be the Head Coach of Griswold/CAM while the Cougar’s co-coaches Jeni Follmann and Layne Westfall will be assistants. The team will also move up in classification from 1A to 2A.
