(Union Co) Two people were transported to the hospital following a three-vehicle accident in Creston Monday evening.
The Creston Police Department says 79-year-old Anthony Groumoutis, of Creston, was driving a 2010 Chrysler 300 south on Spruce Street and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Prairie Street. The Chrysler struck a westbound 2022 Nissan Pickup, driven by 41-year-old Kristina Harris of Creston. The collision caused the Nissan to swing over an hit an eastbound 2021 Dodge pickup, driven by 35-year-old Brandyn Lilienthal, of Creston. The Dodge pickup was also hit by the Chrysler 300.
Harris and Lilienthal were transported to the hospital by friends and family. Groumoutis was not injured.
