(Treynor, IA) — The Treynor Cardinals edged Lewis Central to win the Cardinals Girls Relays. Treynor only had one victory but won largely because they had 8 third place finishes. Delaney Matthews won the Discus, Rylee Hemmingsen was 2nd in the 100 Hurdles and Treynor was 2nd in the 4×800 relay.
Riverside won the Distance Medley Relay with Arabella Singleton, Elly Henderson, Veronica Shechinger, and Bentley Rone and had a season best time of 4:34.44. The Bulldogs were 2nd in the Sprint Medley Relay at 1:58.83.
Tri Center’s Quincey Schneckloth won the 400 Hurdles with a new season best time of 1:08.15 — she improved by about a half a second. Isah Van Arsdol was 2nd in the 800
Underwood had no wins but Isabella Buckholdt was 2nd in three events — the 100, 4×200 relay and Long Jump. Ally Adams was 2nd in the 400 and Eagles were 2nd in the 4×100.
Glenwood won four relays — the 4×200, 4×400, 4×800 and Sprint Medley relay.
Lewis Central’s Brooke Nelson won the 100 and 200 while Delayna Reese had three wins — the 800, 1500, and 3000. Jordyn Matiyow won the shot put.
Fremont Mills won the 4×100 relay; Carlie Chambers won the High Jump and Lana Alley was first in the 100 Hurdles.
Red Oak’s Jocelyn O’Neal won the 400 and the Long Jump.
