Atlantic Boys’ Golf Team Builds Momentum with Early Season Victories

(Atlantic) The Atlantic boys’ golf team enters week two of the season with strong momentum after securing two victories last week. They kicked off their season by beating Kuemper Catholic with a score of 151-157 on Tuesday and followed that with a narrow victory over Creston, finishing 159-156 on Thursday. Head Coach Kendra Henningsen emphasizes that this week is significant for the Trojans, as they will compete in two challenging 18-hole tournaments, starting with Shenandoah on Tuesday.

Next, they will head to Pella for the two-day Dutch Masters Tournament.

In their first week, the Trojans showcased impressive performances, with five players achieving nine-hole scores in the thirties: Hudson McLaren shot a 35, Gage Gross had a 36, while both Sam Brosam and Brady Wood posted 38s.
