(Atlantic) Produce in the Park’s EGG-cellent Spring Celebration Market, celebrating farm-fresh eggs, will be held Saturday, April 19 from noon to 3:00 PM at the Nishna Valley Family YMCA in Atlantic.
The market will feature egg vendors, a 4-H poultry exhibitor with free egg crafts, and Cass Health Dietitian Sarah Andersen sharing nutrition tips and egg recipes. Cass County Extension will provide info on raising chickens, and Sarah Selders will offer Easter-themed face painting. Visitors can also enjoy the Squeezy Pease Accordion Duet, a live Easter bunny, and a free bounce house and playland.
Shoppers will find local vegetables, meats, honey, baked goods, and farm-fresh eggs, plus handmade crafts, candles, bath products, and plants. Admission is free, and SNAP EBT is accepted.
