Trojans Darrow Signs to Play Football at Central College

(Atlantic, IA) — He says he wants to play for the NFL one day and his back up plan is to be an astrophysicist.  Lofty goals for Atlantic Senior Xavier Darrow but it does not hurt to dream big.  On Friday, Darrow signed to play football for Central College in Pella, IA saying it was a relief to make the final decision.  He considered other schools including Wartburg College but he went with the Dutch because they recruited him harder

Darrow says that Pella is very similar to Atlantic which made it easy.  On the field, Darrow has big goals and he says the best way to achieve them is to play linebacker and Central is going to let him

Darrow is still involved in track and field this spring but will not play baseball in the summer.  His focus is now on football but he will take so much from his time at Atlantic

Darrow says he will major in physics and engineering at Central.
