(Harlan, IA) — The Harlan Boys Track and Field team will head to Denison tonight for a meet — the Cyclones have had to totally redo their 4×100 relay team that were state champions in record setting fashion last year. Head Coach Sam Brummer has had injuries galore and has not been able to run the four guys he would like and yet the Cyclones rank 93rd in the state and are on the bubble for the Drake Relays. Hagen Sorensen, Sam Shields, and Landon Nihssen have all missed time for one reason or another
Audio PlayerHarlan is young in other areas but Brummer sees very good signs. He has two freshmen in the 400 Hurdles — Foxx Argotsinger and Carson Baughmann have shown improvement
Audio PlayerBrummer has also seen times drop from his Sophomore long distance runners Erik Heslink and Jeffrey Gross
Audio PlayerHarlan will go up against Boyer Valley, Coon Rapids Bayard, IKM Manning, Tri Center, Woodbine and Denison Schleswig tonight.
