Executive Director Boldon Excited About High School Participation in Drake Relays

(Des Moines, IA) — The 2025 running of the Drake Relays will start on April 23, two weeks from yesterday — the high school events will start on Thursday, April 24 and the last chance to qualify will be meets next Thursday with entries submitted by Friday morning, April 18.  Blake Boldon, Executive Director of the Drake Relays in an interview with KSOM says there are stories all over the state of athletes trying to qualify for the Drake Relays much like Connor Bowers of Griswold who achieved the blue oval standard in the high jump this week

Boldon is from Osceola, Iowa and remembers his first Drake Relays and the dedication of high school athletes and the chance to compete on the blue oval just means more

Boldon says there is plenty of star power at these Drake Relays and the high school athletes will get to stand shoulder to shoulder with them.  And there’s plenty of other extras too
