(Oakland, IA) — Riverside won its own girls meet by ten points over Treynor. The Bulldogs only had two first place finishes — Sophia Fenner won the shot put at 37-09 and the 4×800 relay team of Bentley Rone, Fenner, Bailey Richardson and Amaiya Less won with a time of 10:40.66. Veronica Schechinger was 2nd in the 400 and 4th in the 200; Ayla Richardson was 2nd in the 100 hurdles and 2nd in the 400 hurdles; Kayden Schack was 2nd in the long jump; and the Bulldogs finished 2nd in the 4×400 and sprint medley relays.
Treynor more first place finishes than Riverside — Rylee Hemmingsen 1st in the 100 hurdles and high jump; Madeline Knispel was 1st in the 800; Delaney Matthews was 1st in the discus and 2nd in the shot put; and the Cardinals were first in the 4×100 and shuttle hurdle relays. They were also 2nd in the distance medley; Anne Miller 2nd in the 1500 and Kennedy Hughey 2nd in the 200.
Bella Lamp had a big night for AHSTW winning the 400 hurdles at 1:07.37 which is better by almost 2 seconds (previous best 1:09.31). That unofficially puts her in 12th place in the state and would put her into the Drake Relays field. Lamp also anchored the Distance Medley relay to a win with Kennedy Wyman, Brooklyn Buck and Ava Paulsen at 4:38.98 and she anchored the 4×400 to a win with Wyman, Macey Goshorn and Paulsen at 4:18.04. Lamp was part of the 4×800 relay team that finished 2nd.
Underwood won the 4×200 relay with Tieler Hull, Ainsley Roberts, Haley Stangl and Isabella Buckholdt at 1:53.06. The sprint medley relay also won with Nevara Bettes, Hull, Roberts and Stangl at 1:58.59. Buckholdt also won the long jump at 15-10.25 and she finished 2nd in the 100 meter dash. Ally Adams won the 400 at 1:00.68 and was 2nd in the long jump. The Eagles were 2nd in the shuttle hurdle relay.
