(Washington, DC) — A bipartisan bill introduced by Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley would give Congress more control over tariffs. President Trump says he’ll veto the bill if it passes, but Grassley is holding firm.
“I’ll continue it regardless of the President’s comments because the constitution is on my side,” stated Grassley.
Grassley says he also made an attempt to regain Congressional control over tariffs during Trump’s first term, but it failed.
