Guthrie County Supervisors Make Stand Against Pipeline; Officially Pass Survey Permit Ordinance

(Guthrie County, IA) — After months of debate and consultations with lawyers, the Guthrie County Board of Supervisors passed a new survey permit ordinance that could be used against the building of a pipeline in the county.  Chair Maggie Armstrong read the ordinance which took 12 minutes to complete.  The Supervisors opened it to public comments about the ordinance and only one person spoke — Brett Meese a representative of Summit Carbon Solutions said that a lawsuit is possible
