(Creston) The Creston Police Department has released its arrest report for the weekend, spanning from April 4 through April 6. A total of ten individuals were taken into custody on a variety of charges.
On Friday, April 4, at 5:36 p.m., Brooklyn Michelle Roberts, 19, was arrested at 302 N. Pine Street on a charge of Failure to Appear. Roberts was transported to the Adams County Jail, where she posted a $3,000 cash-only bond.
Later that evening, at 11:24 p.m., Cory Scott Laird, 38, was arrested at 408 S. Sumner Avenue and charged with Operating While Under the Influence (OWI), 1st Offense. Laird was booked into the Union County Jail and posted bail set at $1,000 cash or surety.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, April 5, multiple arrests were made for OWI:
At 1:00 a.m., Jose Reynol Marroquin, 24, of Hildago, Texas, was arrested at the intersection of Highway 25 and Montgomery Street and charged with OWI 1st Offense. He was taken to Union County Jail, where he posted $1,000 cash or surety bail.
At 3:09 a.m., Eric Dennis Shawler, 52, was arrested at 302 N. Pine Street and charged with OWI 1st Offense. Shawler was also booked into Union County Jail and posted $1,000 bail.
Later that day, three individuals were cited and released on Promise to Appear for driving-related offenses:
At 4:39 p.m., Travis Quinn Wambold, 48, was charged with Driving While Suspended.
At 7:00 p.m., Wesley Gene Keller, Jr., 37, was charged with Driving While Suspended.
At 9:13 p.m., Robert Todd Jackson, 46, of was charged with Driving While Suspended.
Early Sunday morning, at 12:25 a.m., Rhonda Jane Thompson, 55, of Corning, was arrested at Highway 34 and Smith. Thompson was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released on a Promise to Appear.
Later that morning at 9:30 a.m., Payten Renae Jurgensen, 21, was arrested at her residence and charged with Harassment 3rd Degree. She was transported to Union County Jail and released on her own recognizance by a magistrate.
On Sunday, at 4:28 p.m., Noemy Aguirre, 22, was cited for Animal at Large. Aguirre was released on a Promise to Appear.
