(Atlantic) The Atlantic tennis teams wrapped up preseason practice and start competition this evening against Kuemper. Atlantic Head Coach Mike McDermott says the top of the girls’ lineup is set; however, the bottom portion of the lineup will be a game-time decision.
Audio PlayerCoach McDermott says Addie Freund is number 3, and Dani Bennett is at 4. He says the bottom two spots are still up in the air. McDermott says Aubrey Winford, Aunika Darrow, Taryn O’Brien, and Ellie Butler are in contention for the final spots.
Audio PlayerKinnick Juhl, a returning state doubles qualifier, is the number one singles player, Reid Woodward is number two, and Conner Johnson is currently number three.

Coach McDermott says Kuemper will be a tough matchup in both the boys and the girls’ competitions.
